Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in the investment and wealth management field. After finishing university, he began his career with a City of London firm specialising in the financial affairs of Lloyds of London members. Jonathan then returned to the North of England to work in Ernst & Young Financial Management’s Leeds office, before joining MacIntosh James & Partners in 2004.

In his role as Investment Director, Jonathan is responsible for the company’s asset management process, which involves selecting and monitoring specialist managers and chairing the firm’s investment committee. He also provides expert guidance to high net worth individuals, trustees and charities, and advises on the investment of compensation awards.
